REVIEW BEFORE FINALE: This show is amazing, and although there are some unfunny jokes or gags, the character dynamics really make this show worth watching. I love watching Homelander act crazy and Butcher’s line of thinking and the Deep’s pathetic dialogue and jokes and Soldier Boy’s bravado and weird gay jokes. This show is all about the characters and their relationships, and the superhero fight scenes and funny jokes is the cherry on top. I really like how topical the show is and how it deals with its commentary. At times it can be very on the nose and annoying but overall, I really like how this show approaches trends and topics in today’s culture. The whole “Homelander God” arc is not far off from what we’re seeing with Trump. It’s nice to see people’s perspective and takes on cultural moments. The VFX is also great, other than some small areas (Ashley’s tumor face). The blood is always really authentic and convincing, and the gore and kills are always super over the top and crazy. Yeah, this show is great. I can see how the gore and weird sexual jokes can be too much for people and at times it was too much for me, but I always have a good time watching this show. It’s fun, it’s dramatic, it’s goofy, it’s a lot. 8/10 REVIEW AFTER FINALE: So The Boys is done. Wow. Now I will admit, this isn’t a perfect show, lots to improve and a lot of weird dialogue and questionable moments, but this show is so unique and I felt like it actually had something to say. The oversaturation of heroes transitioning to our corrupt American leaders and commentary about our lives. I really liked what this show strived to say and its overall messaging. The finale was good, I thought it was a conclusive ending to the show and was satisfying to watch. Cool action, funny jokes, wrapping up the series with Hughie and Butcher fighting was pretty cool and satisfying. I thought the fight scene with Homelander was easily the best of the show, it felt intense and fluid, way better than Herogasm’s fight. The finale was definitely a feel good ending to The Boys, and I’m glad they weren’t afraid to kill off fan favorites in these episodes. Homelander, Butcher, The Deep, and Oh Father were all notable deaths that felt good and memorable. Overall, this doesn’t change the score it’s still 8/10, but I’ll always have respect for The Boys, even though some of the jokes and gags fall flat and Kimiko’s dialogue was written awfully in Season 5.

OK, ne faites pas l’erreur de regarder ceci avec vos parents moi c’est ce que j’ai fait au début donc c’était super gênant plein de problèmes mais bon après avec mon père on s’est habitué et on a regardé toutes les saisons alors c’était vraiment très drôle très cool l’histoire enfin un truc de deux mecs j’ai envie de te dit en fait mais pas que bien sûr c’était vraiment trop bien. En fait j’ai pas trop de mots parce que ça fait un mois que je l’ai pas vu, je note assez Tard, ça fait un moment que j’ai fini la série, même si je sais qu’il y aura bientôt une dernière saison c’était trop cool. Bon la dernière saison on part un peu en cou avec des personnages et tout ça mais c’est pas grave je veux dire c’est des très bons acteurs surtout le protecteur vraiment je comprends pas pourquoi, il est toujours pas d’Oscar bref la série génial aller voir mais bon regarder soit tout seul avec un pote parce que voilà. OK je continue la suite de la note car bah je viens de finir les dernières pièce de la dernière saison plutôt dit du bien et ben j’ai retire OK c’est terminé, je sais qu’il y aura une petite saison sur une petite soldat et et tout ça je regarder Jeanviet bon il y a des trucs qui vont pas c’était critique cette dernière épisode pourquoi parce que ils ont annoncé la fin du monde avec Janville ils ont annoncé une femme qui pouvait tuer le protecteur de deux secondes, ils ont trop de trucs et qui ne se sont pas passés c’est pas pour autant que c’est trop bien, j’étais trop bon souvenir, bien sûr regarder seul ou comment une personne mais de confiance parce que je sais pas c’est pas du tout une famille familiale mais j’adore la vulgarité, j’adore le bord y a tout cette série c’est juste trop bien y a les critiques sur la société aussi en fait c’est juste génial je suis en train de regarder Breaking Bad et je trouve ça ça va vraiment bien et c’est une des meilleures séries ce qui paraît mais là The boy bah je monte en fait, je peux pas faire d’autres trucs que ça j’adore les petits une famille et tout ça mais c’est des trucs trop bien, mais là The boy là c’est même pas trois assez top tout de suite directement c’est mon avis parce que j’ai pas beaucoup de ma vie mais j’adore regarder

A show disparaging and making hero’s “human” is really not what we need during the political climate in which it came out. The dreery and paranoid butcher who fails at truly everything he does and then becomes the thing he set out to distort is also so overplayed. This show could have been great, but it’s gratuitous for gratuity sake
