Ceci n'est pas un fait divers
ANNE-SOPHIE Verdel rated ★ 8/10

Readers find Philippe Besson's portrayal of a tragic family drama both poignant and beautifully written, capturing the deep emotional turmoil of children dealing with the aftermath of their mother's murder by their father. The narrative is appreciated for its delicate handling of sensitive themes and its ability to convey the internal struggles of the characters without falling into melodrama. The book's concise and impactful storytelling leaves a lasting impression, though some find it memorably dark.
